Volume Oracle v1.0 Quick Reference

One-page cheat sheet for volume analysis and position tracking

🎯 The 3 Systems

System Display Purpose Key Features
Volume Flow 🟢🔴 Volume Bars Buying/Selling Pressure Green bars = buying pressure, Red bars = selling pressure
Volume Zones 📦 Horizontal Boxes High-Volume Areas Marks price levels with significant volume accumulation
Position Manager 📍 Entry Lines & P/L Real-Time Tracking Entry price, breakeven line, live profit/loss display

📊 VBS Signals (Volume-Based Signals)

Signal Color Meaning Action
VBS+ 🟢 Green Bullish Volume Spike Strong buying pressure detected → Watch for bullish continuation
VBS- 🔴 Red Bearish Volume Spike Strong selling pressure detected → Watch for bearish continuation

⚡ Quick Interpretation Guide

Volume Flow Patterns

  • Green bars increasing: Bullish pressure building → Potential upward move
  • Red bars increasing: Bearish pressure building → Potential downward move
  • Volume spike at level: Significant interest → Key decision point

Volume Zone Patterns

  • Price enters zone from below: Test of accumulation area → Watch for support
  • Price enters zone from above: Test of distribution area → Watch for resistance
  • Multiple zones clustered: High-conviction area → Strong support/resistance

🤝 Best Combinations

The Trinity (Highest Probability)

  1. ✅ Pentarch cycle signal (TD, IGN, CAP, etc.)
  2. ✅ Janus Atlas level within 1-2%
  3. ✅ Volume Oracle VBS+ or VBS- signal

Example: Pentarch TD at Daily Low + VBS+ spike = Strong accumulation setup

With Janus Atlas

  • VBS+ at Daily/Weekly Low = Strong support confluence
  • VBS- at Daily/Weekly High = Strong resistance confluence
  • Volume Zone + Janus Level = High-probability reversal area

With Plutus Flow

  • Bullish divergence + VBS+ = Confirmation of reversal
  • Bearish divergence + VBS- = Confirmation of top

⚙️ Recommended Settings

Scalping (1m-5m charts)

  • Enable: Volume Flow only
  • Disable: Volume Zones, Position Manager
  • Smoothing: 3-5 periods (faster response)

Day Trading (15m-1H charts)

  • Enable: All 3 systems
  • Volume Zones: 5-10 zones
  • Smoothing: 9 periods (default)

Swing Trading (4H-Daily charts)

  • Enable: All 3 systems
  • Volume Zones: 8-15 zones
  • Position Manager: Track multi-day positions

⚠️ When NOT to Use

❌ Pre-market/after-hours (low volume distorts readings)
❌ Low volume assets (<$100K daily volume)
❌ Crypto with fake volume (wash trading)
❌ First 5 minutes of market open (volume settling)

🔧 Troubleshooting

"Volume bars all one color"
→ Normal during strong trends
→ Green dominance = strong uptrend
→ Red dominance = strong downtrend

"Too many volume zones"
→ Reduce zone count in settings (try 5-8)
→ Increase minimum volume threshold
→ Focus on zones near current price

"Position Manager not tracking"
→ Enable Position Manager in settings
→ Check that VBS signal fired (entry trigger)
→ Verify calculation method matches your needs

📊 Timeframe Suitability

Timeframe Suitability Notes
1m-5m ✅ Good Scalping, Volume Flow most useful
15m ✅ Excellent Day trading, all systems work well
1H ⭐ Best Day/swing trading sweet spot
4H ⭐ Best Swing trading, clearest volume zones
Daily ✅ Excellent Position trading, high-quality signals
Weekly ✅ Good Long-term, volume zones very reliable

🎯 Volume Success Tips

  1. Price + Volume = Context — Volume confirms price moves
  2. High volume at key levels = Conviction — More reliable than low-volume moves
  3. Volume Zones act as magnets — Price tends to return to these areas
  4. Combine with Janus levels — Volume Zone + Price Level = highest probability
  5. Watch for divergences — Price up + Volume down = weakness

📖 Key Concepts

Volume Flow: Measures buying vs selling pressure through volume analysis
Volume Zones: Areas where significant volume accumulated (support/resistance)
VBS Signals: Volume-Based Signals that fire on volume spikes
Position Manager: Real-time P/L tracking from entry to exit
